Musician and filmmaker Rob Zombie has fascinated fans with his horror feature films and shock rock music. The solo artist who emerged in the music scene in 1985 has made a significant impact on heavy metal and rock culture over the past three decades. Zombie has released seven studio albums, which all entered the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. The latest record, The Lunar Injection Kool-Aide Eclipse Conspiracy peaked at number 1 on the Top US Independent Albums, Top Hard Rock Albums, and Top a rock Albums chart. Meanwhile, the record also broke through the mainstream chart, peaking at number 9 on the Billboard 200 chart. Moreover, the album’s single, “The Triumph of King Freak (A Crypt of Preservation and Superstition) was nominated for Best a metal Performance at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, making it Zombie’s eighth Grammy nomination.
The Freaks on Parade Tour also features co-headliner Mudvayne. The rock band from Illinois has made a name for themselves in the rock and heavy metal scene with their math metal and progressive elements. Band members Chad Gray, Gregg Tribette, Ryan Martinie, and Matthew McDonough are known to experiment with various rock genres and sounds. Formed in 2000, the band has released five studio albums and sold over six million records worldwide. In 2001, Mudvayne won an MTV2 Award for their debut album’s single “Dig.” In 2006, the band received their first Grammy Nomination for Best Metal Performance for the song “Determined.”
