Your boys Donnie, Joey, Jordan, Jonathan, and Danny are hitting over 40 cities nationwide, promising a sunny start to the season with their launch day follow-up on June 15 at the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre.
“The true ‘magic’ of this tour is in the music, the moments, and the memories that we get to create – and recreate – with our amazing fans each night,” Donnie Wahlberg said in a press statement.
The 2024 Magic Summer Tour will bring back the boy band’s greatest hits and underappreciated fan favorites in a nostalgic concert filled with surprises! New Kids on The Block reached peak popularity during the late ‘80s to the early ‘90s and are often lauded as the trailblazing inspiration for groups such as the Backstreet Boys. Their first four studio albums are all multi-platinum collections, with the second (Hangin’ Tough) and fourth (Step by Step) topping the Billboard 200. Between these records, the group produced several Billboard Hot 100 top three hits, including "I'll Be Loving You (Forever)," "Cover Girl," and "Step by Step."
NKOTB has also sold over 80 million records worldwide and is the proud winner of several major accolades. These include two American Music Awards, one Billboard Music Award, nine Boston Music Awards, and two Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
Guest artist Paula Abdul is a GRAMMY Award-winning singer and Primetime Emmy Award-winning choreographer. She recorded the Billboard Hot 100 number one hit, “Opposites Attract,” from the debut album Forever Your Girl, which itself topped the Billboard 200 chart and achieved 7x platinum status.
DJ Jazzy Jeff, on the other hand, is Will Smith’s former hip-hop partner and a pioneer of transformer scratch turntablism. He is best known for his first two studio albums, The Magnificent and The Return of the Magnificent, both charting hits in Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
