Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026

Iron Maiden's 50th anniversary of touring, an absolutely insane global spectacle, and one of the band's most extensive tours, covering Europe, North America, and Mexico

Kicking off the European 2026 leg in Athens, Greece, the band will put on some spectacular shows at Vasil Levski Stadium in Sofia, Bulgaria, and Bratislava's Národn Futbalov tadión, Slovakia's largest football stadium. Plus festival highlights, Sweden Rock Festival in Solvesborg, Rock im Park in Nurnberg, and Rock am Ring in Nürburgring. This leg ends with one epic homecoming show at the UK's Knebworth Park on July 11.

The North American shows launch from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto in late August and continue to Montréal, Harrison, NJ, Boston, NY, Bristow, VA, and the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL, on September 22nd, among many more. Megadeth serves as a special guest for all 12 North American dates, with Anthrax on board for the stadium shows.

Iron Maiden

Starting life as a gritty UK pub rock outfit on Christmas Day 1975, Iron Maiden truly became the band it is today when Bruce Dickinson joined as lead singer in 1980. Who, as a kid, was expelled from boarding school for urinating in the headmaster's dinner! In 1982 they topped UK charts with the controversial album, The Number of the Beast, and still one of their biggest hits, "Run to the Hills" hit No. 7. Then again, a year later in 1983, they delivered "The Trooper," which peaked at No. 12, and repeated this in 1984 with the song "2 Minutes to Midnight."

With over 100 million albums worldwide, they are one of the best-selling heavy metal acts ever, and all three of their latest albums, The Final Frontier, The Book of Souls, and Senjutsu, all hit No. 1 in over 25 countries. But their one and only UK No. 1 track is "Bring Your Daughter… to the Slaughter" from 1990.

The band's mascot, Eddie, has been a part of the band since 1980 and has featured on almost all of their album covers as well as in video games, comics, and even British stamps. Ed Force One, a Boeing 757 customized and piloted by Dickinson, has flown them over 500,000 miles. And from Wacken to Download, Iron Maiden has headlined every major metal festival multiple times.

Megadeth

Formed after Dave Mustaine was fired from Metallica in 1983. They debuted with Killing Is My Business… and Business Is Good! in 1985. Their biggest hit is 1992's "Symphony of Destruction" which peaked at No. 5 on the Mainstream Rock Charts. Along with Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax, they are the US's Big Four of thrash metal. To date Megadeth has sold over 38 million records, from 16 studio albums.

Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre

Opening back in 1990 as the World Music Theatre with an opening show by Cher on her Heart of Stone Tour, playing to over 20,000 fans. Sold-out shows came from The Spice Girls' Spiceworld Tour in 1997 and Britney Spears' Oops!… I Did It Again Tour in 2000. Its has been named the Tweeter Center, the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, and the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre before its current naming in 2023 as Credit Union 1.

Located at 19100 Ridgeland Ave. in Tinley Park, Illinois. With a capacity of 28,739, split between 11,000 reserved seats and 17,000 lawn spots, it is one of the largest outdoor venues in the Chicago area, and the amphitheater's sloped lawn is just perfect for picnics with blankets.
