"La Ultima Pedia Tour" roughly translates to "The Last Drunken Party". Groupo Firme are quick to dismiss that this tour would be their last. It's just the band's way of saying that when one gets a hangover from the-best-night-of-their-life, they swear to never get drunk again -- but who would believe that, right? Just like Groupo Firme's music and live concerts -- their sound and stage presence are intoxicatingly euphoric, you get a hangover, then a massive craving to come back for more!
Group Firme was formed in 2014 in Tijuana, Baja California. Their first attempt at releasing an album in 2017 proved to be futile in terms of sales, yet on the flipside, they made heads turn in their live shows. The release of singles like "Pídeme", "El Roto" and "Juro Por Dios" in 2020 showed that they were now poised for success. That same year, they received a nomination for a Premios Juventud. They bounced back in 2021 by taking home four Premios Juventudes; and won five out of six nominations at the Premios Lo Nuestro. Also within that year, they scored their first Latin Grammy win for Best Banda Album for their album Nos Divertimos Lo Grando Lo Imposible.
Along with a string of successful albums and chart-topping releases. Group Firme had a bustling touring schedule, which enabled them to grow their fan base in leaps and bounds.
