Coming from the Big Apple, Foreigner are absolute prodigies in the rock scene. They formed in 1976 and haven’t looked back since! These champions, behind epic tracks like "Feels Like the First Time" and "Cold as Ice," can proudly call themselves one of the world's bestselling bands of all time. I know, it has a ring to it. They have a massive fan followng. In fact, they've sold more than 80 million records around the globe. And with bangers like "Waiting for a Girl Like You,” I think we know why.
Who’s behind this awesome rock band, you ask? Well that would be: Mick Jones (lead and rhythm guitars, keyboards, backing and lead vocals), Jeff Pilson (backing vocals, bass, and keyboards), Kelly Hansen (vocals and percussion), Michael Bluestein (backing vocals and keyboards), Bruce Watson (backing vocals, lead and rhythm guitars), Chris Frazier (drums and percussion), and Luis Maldonado (backing vocals, rhythm and lead guitars, and bass).
This kind of talent stands tall on its own, but for the very last time they’re joined by some big guns. The legendary Stinx. He’s the fella behind the smash hit "Missing You," that soared to the coveted number one spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the top ten on the UK Singles Chart.
And where better to experience a show of a lifetime than Illinois beloved Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre?! Located in Tinley Park, this outdoor venue is one of the largest music venues in the Chicago area, with a capacity of 28,000 spectators. 11,000 reserved seats and 17,000 lawn seats, to be exact.
