It's been 20 years since "Don't Cha" hit the airwaves, and truth be told, a lot of dudes out there are still wishing. The Pussycat Dolls are back on the road with this PCD Forever Tour. One of the stops is at the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre on Friday, June 19th. You're not going to want to miss this one. The Pussycat Dolls aren't exactly a group that you can find on the road on a yearly basis. While it seems they're trying to make a comeback disguised as a reunion tour, it might be a curtain call for these ladies!
Right now, you can find spots inside the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre for around $50. Those are the kind of rates that up-and-coming bands get these days, not The Pussycat Dolls. What does this mean? The entire event is going to be a 2000s nostalgia fest. Anywhere that you can find Lil Kim taking the stage, you know the 2000s are calling, and they want their music back! What you're also coming back to is the exact moment that you first saw Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, and Kimberly Wyatt in a music video. It was likely the "Don't Cha" music video on TRL. A lot of people are going to have some trouble with that reference, but we're pretty confident none of those people are going to be looking into this event! "Club Song" is literally the latest single from The Pussycat Dolls. That should give you a pretty clear idea of where we're headed. There's also a chance they follow that song up with more releases. This could turn into a revival tour, not just an anniversary one. Having said this, "Buttons", "Stickwitu," and "Don't Cha" will still probably get the most fanfare. However, the lights and visuals could match that club experience that the group is trying to build. It can be an interesting show when it's all set and done.
